"AIT made a dramatic change in Jason (now 9 yrs old). Jason was diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, ODD and some Aspergers Syndrome about 4 ½ yrs ago.

All his life, we had to repeat ourselves to him 2-3 times (at least).

He had difficulty processing information and had a non-verbal learning struggle meaning that he struggled with expressing and dialoging. People would ask him questions, but often he wouldn’t respond. It looked like he was simply ignoring them or preoccupied.

He also was very hyper; especially in noisy environments. He was not your typical CAPD candidate who covers their ears to certain sounds. That was not the pattern with Jason but he did have a huge struggle expressing himself appropriately and at age level.

We first focused on Jason biochemistry by changing his diet and heavy supplementation for over 2 years before doing Berard AIT, which made a huge difference in many areas but he still struggled with CAPD. In December of 2004 we did a 10 day round of Berard AIT due to his audiogram showed some peaks and valleys in Jason's "hearing". Our outstanding audiologist recommended it. Immediately after Berard AIT we experienced some positive changes, then 1-2 weeks of some regression then back to what seemed like the same auditory struggles for Jason.

Then at the 3 months mark is when we started seeing a noticeable change. Several teachers commented that Jason was responding the first time to their voice or sometimes after a repeat. Before, they were having to repeat several times. We all noticed an improvement socially. He started relating better with his peers plus we saw an overall calmness and a better ability to express himself and engage in a conversation and handle conflict much better.

At the 6 months mark, Jason was retested. Some of his Berard AIT stuck but in a few areas he regressed so we did one complimentary Berard AIT refresher training. Around 3 months after that, we have seen once again a very delightful boy who is much better at responding the first time. He is quick to help others in need and will “hear” when someone needs assistance and will quickly come to their aid. It is truly amazing.
